National Forest DRAFT Management Plan Released- 2006 In
1986, the Forest Service adopted the current management
plan declaring that the assumptions therein were
valid for only ten years. A DRAFT of a new forest
plan has been released - and it doesn't appear that
they have bothered to update those assumptions. Logging,
Oil & Gas Drilling, and ATVs still dominate the management
of a national forest created for watershed protection. Be
